Marcus Cooper has been appointed head of global fuel oil trading.
BP has moved to replace key staff on its global fuel oil and Asia marine fuels teams, following the resignation of several members of the teams in May, Reuters reports.
Marcus Cooper has been appointed head of global fuel oil trading. Cooper previously headed BP’s global gasoline trading operations based in the US.
Stephen Ng, one of two remaining members of BP’s Asia fuel oil team, has been appointed as head of its regional fuel oil desk. U.S.-based Carlos Torres takes over as leader of the Asia marine fuels division.
BP has also moved two junior staff into the Asia fuel oil desk as traders, Reuters reports. The company is still looking to fill remaining vacancies, particularly for its marine fuels section.
